What Our Clients Say
Hear from the families and individuals who have experienced the transformative power of personalized speech therapy at MyVoice.
“We LOVE Ryan! My son is autistic and has very fast speech which makes it hard to understand. Ryan has been working with him to slow down speech so it's easier to understand. We have seen such a great improvement! Even his teacher has commented how his speech is much more clear!! Highly recommend! =)”
“My son worked with Ryan for over a year & made AMAZING progress due to Ryan's patience, guidance, & his commitment to help us both learn how to use the communication device effectively. I cannot express how important he became to my little family over the time he worked with us. Go see him!!!”
“If your goal for your child is communication and connection, Ryan Penny is the therapist to get you there! Ryan's expertise in the fields of speech therapy and AAC is unmatched. Therapy sessions with my son were always tailored to his specific interests. This allowed Ryan to easily find new, innovative ways for him to communicate. With Ryan's guidance, my son's communication improved significantly in a very short amount of time. He can now navigate through multiple screens to share his thoughts and is even starting to send text messages! Ryan's knowledge of the latest AAC technology brought my nonverbal teen into the current world.”

Custom 3D Printed Keyguards
Need a keyguard for your AAC device? I 3D print custom keyguards at a fraction of the cost you'll find online.
What is a Keyguard?
A keyguard is a protective overlay that fits over an AAC device or tablet screen. It features precisely cut holes that align with the buttons or cells on the device's communication display. The raised frame creates physical barriers between buttons, allowing users to rest their hand on the surface and guide their finger to the correct selection without accidentally pressing neighboring buttons.
Who Benefits from Keyguards?
Keyguards are essential tools for many AAC users, particularly those with:
- Motor control challenges — tremors, limited fine motor skills, or difficulty isolating finger movements
- Visual impairments — the tactile boundaries help users feel where buttons are located
- Fatigue or weakness — provides a stable surface to rest hands while navigating
- Anyone learning AAC — reduces frustration from accidental selections during the learning process
Affordable Custom Keyguards
Commercial keyguards can cost $100-$300+ online. Using my 3D printer, I create custom keyguards for AAC devices at a significantly lower cost. Whether you need a keyguard for a dedicated AAC device, an iPad with TouchChat or LAMP Words for Life, or any other communication app, I can help.
